The Microsoft Security Intelligence Report, released earlier this month, has recognized 3 key trends seeming to dominate the threat landscape.
I’m willing to bet we are all guilty of, at one point in time, using “Password123” as our password on some random website we used that made us create a user account just to proceed on with our purchase. With so many websites requiring us to create these new user accounts and come up with passwords on-the-fly, it’s no wonder our best-laid-plans to come up with a new, unique, unbreakable, impenetrable password (as recommended by security experts) so often fail. And the hackers are just getting better and better at figuring out our quick fix passwords.
